Steve has over 23 years of experience in Wealth Management, previously holding positions as a Vice President-Wealth Management with UBS, Vice President and Trust Officer with Civista Bank and a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch.
Steve is the fiduciary specialist within the firm. He has demonstrated that he has met educational, competence, conduct and ethical standards to carry out a fiduciary standard of care and serve the best interests of his clients. He applies investment procedures for his wealth, retirement, foundation andendowment clients. He uses fiduciary best practices for his clients that have earned him credibility and distinction within the industry.

Steve earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration through the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Steve also played football during his tenure at the university.

Giving back to his community is top of mind for Steve. He is currently involved in: Serving Our Seniors of Erie County- Board Member; Catholic Charities of Erie County – Board Member; Sandusky Yacht Club; Sandusky Rotary Club and the Catawba Island Club.

A native of Sandusky, Steve lives with his wife of 35 years , Lori in Perkins Township. They are very proud of their two children: Ryan, an attorney in Dallas, and Kayla, a graduate student at Ohio State.Steve enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, bicycling and other outdoor activities and is an avid reader. Steve is a huge Ohio State University football fan.

Brian has 33+ years of Wealth Management experience and is the firm’s founder. Brian is a certified Bloomberg terminal and Thompson Reuters Eikon investment professional. Brian uses both of these tools for securities research, portfolio modeling, analytics, and stress testing of investment models and portfolios of every type. Using real-time economic factors, global news, and portfolio specific events and signals that he monitors daily; enables him to manage client portfolios efficiently throughout True Alpha’s book of business. He believes that the key to portfolio management is risk management, and he has the best tools in the industry to do just that!

As Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the firm, Brian oversees the investment strategy for our client’s assets as Portfolio Manager. In his role as Portfolio Manager, Brian invests client portfolios based on our unique financial planning process. He develops specific models for each client as appropriate to their needs, risk tolerance, and objectives. Brian specializes in using both strategic and tactical disciplines with an emphasis on risk management, tax minimization, and wealth preservation as related to each client’s specific financial plan. Brian provides objective investment advice and guidance to both individuals and institutions. Integrating a complex body of investment knowledge and experience, he applies that knowledge to systematically and ethically assist clients in managing portfolios and making prudent investment decisions. Brian builds and manages customized investment strategies and implements proprietary model portfolios that he manages for a fixed, all-inclusive fee (free of transaction costs) as appropriate for each client’s unique situation. Our client’s lives and the markets are very dynamic; as a result, Brian receives his greatest reward by helping clients navigate those changes successfully, and in doing so, has developed long-lasting trusted relationships.
Making a difference in my community
Brian has worked in Sandusky and lives in Huron and has served on many boards and in leadership positions with Habitat for Humanity, The American Cancer Society, The Shriners, The State Theatre, Plum Brook country club, The Sandusky Yacht club, the Huron Yacht club, and the Patrick and Louise Murray Foundation. He believes that it is imperative to give back to the community in which he lives and does so regularly through regular contributions of time and money.
Outside the Office
Brian lives in Huron with his wife, Erin Murray, and enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. Active his whole life in many outdoor and sporting activities and coaching, he now spends more time with his wife and kids - traveling, boating, fishing, and is a voracious reader.

Michael Caprai, Certified Financial Fiduciary® , AIF®
Michael is the founder and managing member of Green Leaf Financial Consulting, LLC, and has more than 30 years of experience in business and business management. His passion for helping people was realized early in life. Having watched his mother struggle through raising five boys on her own with nowhere to turn for honest financial guidance, Michael doesn’t want others to have to go through what he and his family endured. This experience drove him to specialize in financial planning and investment management for women, families, and business owners. Now, as a business owner himself, serving clients in the Pacific Northwest, he understands what goes into balancing the responsibility of running a business with family life, all while hoping to secure a meaningful legacy.
It was during his successful real estate career that Michael recognized he was limited in his ability to help people, so, in 1998, he entered the financial planning and investment management business. He learned from some of the best during his tenure with Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, a member of Citigroup. Michael has been using his life experience and his financial planning experience throughout the last 21 years to help clients navigate through major recessions and market downturns. Michael is not only devoted to his family and clients but to his community. Michael has been extensively involved at his children’s schools, serving on boards and committees to improve and enhance the students’ educational experience. Additionally, he has served as an honorary chairman for the National Business Advisory Council and on the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce Local Government Affairs and Economic Development councils.
Giving back is important to Michael, so when asked, he agreed to teach a Practical Wealth Management class at the University of Oregon Lundquist School of Business to MBA and MSA graduate students. Michael strives to impart education to these students regarding the difference between product sales and true consulting in the investment and financial planning arena.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffany. They love creating meals, cooking and serving them to family and friends. He also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including, tennis, hiking, backpacking, and boating in the Great Northwest, as well as fly-fishing in Oregon and Montana. Michael has been involved in youth athletics and coaching (tackle football and track) for more than 30 years. Michael lives in Eugene with his wife, who owns and operates her own business as an independent mortgage broker.

I have been a financial advisor for over twenty years. I also have an accounting background prior to that. My specialty includes working with retired individuals who are interested in setting up a pension for themselves using various methods that fit their needs. I also help clients with their retirement goals and home buying goals. I enjoy teaching my clients the fundamentals of investing and helping them reach their ambitions. Most of all I do enjoy helping my fellow clients in all their financial matters.
Daniel Stewart is Regional Vice President and an accomplished Financial Consultant at Stewart Wealth Advisors. Daniel has extensive knowledge in retirement planning, portfolio and asset management, and insurance. His prior experience working as a Financial Advisor for hundreds of clients at a bank and credit union has made him an expert in the holistic approach to financial advising. Tim is originally from Orlando, FL. After attending Valencia College in Orlando, he worked for the Walt Disney Company at the Magic Kingdom as an audio technician for shows and events for 6 years. When Tim left Disney he worked for the Cox Radio Group in Orlando for several years before founding CyberStorm Technologies, Inc. Tim moved his family to the mountains of Tennessee in 2007 and continued to be very successful in his radio and consulting careers, founding The Plan Advisor in 2017 in order to offer ALL of the Safe-Money Retirement products available in the market to his clients as an independent advisor. Being fully independent, he works solely in the best interests of his clients, not the insurance companies.
Tim and his beautiful wife Melissa live in Johnson City, TN and have been married for over 25 years. They have one daughter currently attending college.
