My name is Tatjana Schmitt, and after earning my Master of Business Administration and completing a successful 30-year career in the airline industry, I moved to Texas and shifted my focus to what inspires me most—helping individuals and families plan for a brighter tomorrow.

As a licensed agent in Life and Health and as Certified Financial Fiduciary, I provide guideance to guide families through proven Indexed Strategies,towards a future where their children have the freedom to chase their dreams—whether that means pursuing higher education, exploring the world, or following their own unique path. And I  help individuals prepare for retirement with strategies that provide confidence, security, and peace of mind. Having raised my own family and experienced my own transition into retirement, I understand the questions and concerns, that come with planning for life’s next chapter.

When I’m not working on behalf of my clients, I enjoy spending time with my family,especialy my granddaugher, traveling, and embracing the Texas outdoors—especially exploring the many scenic bike trails in the area.

Brett Sause is the Founder and CEO of AFG Wealth, a boutique financial planning practice headquartered in Easton, Maryland.  

AFG Wealth was established in 1999, shortly after Brett began his financial services career. Since then, Brett has prioritized continuing education and learning opportunities to serve clients' needs best. Philanthropic involvement is a priority for the Sause family. Brett and his wife, Molly, formed the Brett & Molly Sause Family Charitable Fund in 2014 to focus on maritime safety, community involvement, and children's bereavement programs. These efforts reflect their dedication to fostering safer waters, stronger communities, and providing support to children during difficult times.

Brett is also a member of the MDRT Foundation, where his donor level is that of the "Royal Order Excalibur Knight," the most prestigious donor level one can achieve within the organization, with a minimum donation of $250,000.

An accolade that brings Brett great pride is his lifetime membership with the National Eagle Scout Association. Brett, an Eagle Scout himself, was named the Eagle Scout CEO of the Year for the Baltimore Area Council in 2014.

Outside of the office, Brett is an avid yachting and maritime enthusiast. He holds a United States Coast Guard Master Merchant Marine Officer 100 (GRT) credential with a commercial towing endorsement. Brett loves spending time with family and friends on the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding waters. Brett and Molly live in Oxford, Maryland, with their daughter Emily and their two Goldendoodles, Bailey and Maggie.

Jim Connell is the owner of Retirement Planning Group and RPG Insurance Services.  He has been in the business for nearly 10 years and holds securities, life, and health licenses.  He currently holds the Certified Financial Fiduciary ® Designation and educates people on the many facets of retirement planning, including income planning, tax planning, and estate planning.

Jim recognized the need for specialized planning when it came time for people to transition from the years they spent accumulating wealth into retirement, when they need to preserve and distribute that wealth. He founded Retirement Planning Group to provide that much-needed education and to help give people clarity when it comes to this important phase of life.

A graduate of Miami University, Jim has been married to his wife, Julie, for over 30 years, and have 4 wonderful children.  They currently reside in West Chester, Ohio, and Jim is active in the community, including serving on the Board for Mount Notre Dame High School and its Investment Committee.

Gerard is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Now based in Las Vegas with his wife, Kayoko, and their beloved dog, Sarge, Gerard is a licensed financial professional with over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry.
