Clients often ask me why I became a Financial Advocate, and the answer is a tale close to my heart. It all began when my family and I embarked on a new chapter, moving to the United States in 2007. At that time, the prevailing wisdom was to invest in a home, and, like many others, my parents used their hard-earned money as a down payment, filled with dreams of a brighter future. But 2008's financial crisis changed the course of our lives, leading to the loss of our home. This painful experience was a result of one crucial missing piece: financial education.
I, too, had journeyed through life with a lack of understanding about the path to financial freedom. Much of the advice I received was quite generic – "secure a good job, work hard, and save diligently." Terms like "401(K)" were familiar, but I lacked a deeper understanding of how it all worked. I simply assumed that a 401(K) match from your employer indicated a good job. I held firm to the belief that diligent work would lead to prosperity, even though I saw many around me working tirelessly without reaping the rewards they deserved.
Then, a pivotal moment reshaped my life. I met a mentor who took me under their wing, opening my eyes to the profound truth: one can make their money work for them, and you don't need to be a millionaire to follow in the footsteps of millionaires. The revelation hit me hard – "Why isn't this taught in schools? Everyone should have access to this knowledge!" It was at that moment that I resolved to be a teacher, and thus, I set out on my path as a Financial Advocate.
Most people desire financial independence but often lack a roadmap. That's where I come in.
Today, I stand as an independent financial advocate, committed to helping my clients bridge the gap between their aspirations and their reality. My mission is clear: to provide exceptional value by offering financial education, understanding client's financial situations, and providing solutions and ongoing service.
My journey was enriched by a mentor as passionate about financial education as I am today. I am here to offer that same guidance to you. If you find that your money isn't working as hard as you are, it's time to choose a financial advocate. IM HERE...
Former stockbroker. Former insurance manager. Former sales trainer.
After years of winning trophies and trips, I decided to STOP SELLING.
Disillusioned with our transaction-based, high-commission and inherently conflicted financial industry, I became an independent investment advisor, full-fledged financial fiduciary and holistic financial planner.
I advise. I teach. I invest using Nobel Prize-winning academic research.
And I help create that moment of relief when investing/insurance/estate planning/charitable giving/trust & will creation/tax management/Medicare/Social Security/long-term care/wealth transfer/omg becomes... simple.
I'd love to answer any questions or point you in the right direction (and away from the sales people).
Note:
I am a licensed Investment Adviser Representative (Series 66) of my Registered Investment Adviser firm.
I earn no commissions when acting as an advisor.
If I act as an insurance agent, commissions are generated by the insurance carrier—but I donate 100% of all commissions so I can maintain my Fiduciary position with my clients.
This is my attempt to eliminate conflicts of interest, by design.
