Brian Walsh, Jr. joined Walsh & Nicholson Financial Group in 2017 to bring a new age of trusted, prudent and holistic financial planning to individual clients, businesses, and Group 401(k), 457 and 403(b) plans.As a fiduciary, Brian believes that every decision that is made should be in his client’s best interest. He works diligently with his clients, understanding their needs to help build a custom financial plan for their individual goals.
Before joining Walsh & Nicholson Financial Group, Brian spent five years with Lincoln Financial Group.Brian lived in San Francisco, California, where he was responsible for implementing Lincoln’s retirement income strategies for high net worth clients.
While at Lincoln, and through his work in retirement planning, Brian noticed a need for better group 401(k) plans and 457 governmental plans, as well as better financial wellness tools for employees of those plans. Now, Brian works with employers to design plans for their individual businesses while reducing plan fees. Brian also designed the new Walsh & Nicholson website to be a comprehensive financial planning resource for employees and individual clients.
Brian received his MBA in Finance from Syracuse University and his Bachelor’s Degree from Cabrini University. He holds series 65, 7, 6, 63 and Life Accident & Health insurance licenses.Brian is a Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF) and Certified Funds Specialist (CFS). Prior is also working towards completing his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Designation.
Prior to his career in Finance, Brian was a police officer in Prince William County, Virginia. Brian was nominated as squad leader by his peers and led responses to high risk calls and warrant services. He was twice nominated for officer of the month; once for tracking down and apprehending the suspect of a kidnapping, and for his work on domestic violence cases.

Brad Bishop received his Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Messiah College. Brad holds his series 6, 63, and 65 license. In addition to being a Certified Financial Fiduciary he is also a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor and a Certified Bucket Plan Advisor. Before working at AZT Financial, he worked as a Brand Manager at Clemens Food Group and a Branch Manager at Univest Bank. Brad resides in Harleysville with his wife Elissa, and 3 children, Keira, Nolan, and Brynnlee. Brad attends church at LCBC and serves on the board of Ancora Spero and Indian Creek Foundation. He also enjoys hunting, trail racing, playing sports with friends, and rooting for the Eagles, Sixers and Phillies.
Linda Burns is a financial advisor focusing on investment and insurance strategies for retirement income planning and tax efficient wealth transfer and preservation. A 1984 graduate of Penn State University, Linda has worked in wealth management for most of her career, beginning in South Florida before eventually moving back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. She became an independent financial advisor in 2000 and it turned out to be her dream job; she loves what she does every single day and gets the added bonus of helping her clients to achieve their own goals! She and her husband Scott live in Hollidaysburg and have two grown sons; Casey, a computer software engineer in San Diego, CA, and Colin, an IT specialist in central PA.

George is a decorated veteran of the US Army and served on the security detail for the Supreme Allied Commander at NATO headquarters in Belgium. Throughout her 33-year career, Marva has been passionate about helping her clients achieve their financial wants and needs as they work to fulfill their most important life goals. By combining her deep care for those she serves with an analytical approach, Marva strives to ensure her clients feel confident in their financial future.
Marva began her career in the financial services right after high school, working her way up from the role of receptionist to become a financial advisor and vice president of her own company. She gets tremendous gratification from helping her clients, and she cannot imagine doing anything else. Marva assists those she serves with retirement investments, estate, long-term care and life insurance planning, cash management, as well as liability management.
Prior to establishing VK Wealth Advisors in 2016, Marva served as an associate vice president and financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Financial for seven years. Before that she was employed for 13 years as a financial advisor and client service associate with Merrill Lynch, and for nine years as a branch office coordinator and sales assistant with Legg Mason Wood Walker. A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Marva holds her Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses and Pennsylvania state insurance licenses.
Marva, a lifelong resident of Karthaus, makes her home with her husband, Dale. They have two children, Maleigha and Logan; three grandchildren, Sofia, Jackson and Grayson; two granddogs, Cash, and Piper.
In her free time, Marva enjoys cooking, reading, camping, ATV riding and spending time with her family. She is a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, and is a board member and volunteer with Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery. She also serves as a member and volunteer with the Quehanna Industrial Development Committee (QIDC).She is also a volunteer at the Centre County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
