Joshua was born in Atlanta, GA, but at a young age his family moved to Chesapeake, VA, where he was raised. He attended Norfolk State University where he was on the Dean's List, named Mr. School of Business, and was a member of the football team from 2006-2009. He was featured in the November-December 2015 Edition of the Coastal Virginia Magazine for his dedication as a mentor and tutor for the literacy program with the Life Enrichment Center in Norfolk, VA. ​
​Professionally, Joshua has been a financial coach for over 8 years. During his career he has gained in depth knowledge and expertise in the areas of life insurance, long-term care planning, irrevocable funeral trust, IRA maximization, final expense planning, retirement income planning, and many others.  He has also received special training on Federal Employee Benefits.
Joshua works daily with clients to assist them with creating a holistic financial game plan that will allow them to reap the benefits of a well-planned financial future. He is also part of a national Mastermind group that develops systems and processes to enhance financial practices across the country.  ​
