About Brian Keith Moon

Brian is the author of 'the Ultimate Retirement Planning Guide: Retire Like You're on Apollo 13.' (Available on Amazon) This book guides you through the actions that are needed for a successful retirement mission. Using the Apollo 13 mission as an illustrative device to understand Retirement Planning, Social Security, Taxes, Investments, Financial Advisors, and how a Certified Financial Fiduciary can help you plan a successful retirement mission. With over 27 years of experience in the financial industry, he carries a certificate in financial planning from Boston University and is a registered social security analyst. 
Brian has previously worked with institutions such as AIG, Edward Jones, BrokersXpress, ISC Group, SCF Investment Advisors, and Crown Capital Securities, LP. Brian is currently the Managing Principal and Chief Compliance Officer of Toro Investment Advisors, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor firm. He was privileged to ring the closing bell at the NASDAQ in 2013. Additionally, Brian has been the recipient of many financial industry awards. Brian earned the professional designation of Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA) and Certified Financial Fiduciary (CF2). Brian has also been involved in philanthropy and civic activities with the Hale Center Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and in prison ministry. Brian fundraised and successfully applied for grants on behalf of the Hale Center EMS, raising more than $210,000. He sat on its board of directors and received recognition for his efforts. He was a finalist for the 'Invest in Others' community service award for his work with Hale Center EMS.
